Sensei Wendy and her staff have had an incredible impact on both of my children. The dojo is truly a second home to them- a place where they feel comfortable and loved all while being pushed to be the best they can be. Sensei Wendy is talented with learners of all abilities, and welcomes everyone in her dojo.

I can't say enough good things about Kessler Karate Academy! My son started when he was 6, and now at 15 he is working toward his second degree black belt. He has always felt comfortable, supported and challenged throughout his years at Kessler Karate. Wendy and everyone else who teaches at the dojo are kind and committed.

This is such a great environment for my son in every possible way. The learning curve is huge.

My 8-year old son is a super shy kid. We tried signing him up for T ball and soccer, but he really didn’t like going to the practices, so we dropped those activities. When he started taking karate lessons with Wendy Sensei and her team, the instructors did a great job at warming him up and making him feel welcome. Wendy rewarded him with a tiger patch for perseverance—coming to class even when he didn’t feel like to. After just 6 months of classes, he has gained confidence and is always excited to come to class. Wendy Sensei puts a lot of emphasis on not only teaching martial arts skills, but also building character and teaching life skills, tailored to each student. We are so happy we found this dojo. My son is now looking forward to working towards his black belt and teaching karate in the future!!

Kessler Karate was one of the best things that could have happened to our son when he was 10! Under Sensei Wendy’s guidance, he developed deep interest in learning karate. The dojo is truly a family where students learn life lessons, not just karate. My son is a junior First Degree black belt, aspiring to continue his journey to 3rd Degree and beyond. I am truly thankful to Wendy and her leadership team for making this journey an inspiring and loving one. I would highly recommend Kessler to all youngsters and parents alike!!!
